Learning Intensives
NC Opioid Settlement Academy
The NCACC, the University of North Carolina’s Injury Prevention Research Center, and NCDHHS host the NC Opioid Settlement Academy. The application deadline was Friday, August 15, 2025.
Trauma-Informed Counties in Practice
The NCACC Trauma-Informed Counties in Practice (TICP) is designed to provide guidance and support for local government workgroups in North Carolina in planning and implementing a trauma-informed approach. To participate in TICP, you must form a workgroup that consists of at least two leadership-level staff members from your local government (who have the authority to make decisions about budgets, organizational policies, etc.) and your local government’s opioid settlement coordinator/administrator (if applicable). Each county/municipality may only submit one application. The application deadline was April 21, 2025.
