We are excited to welcome county leaders to Raleigh for the NCACC County Advocacy Days, held June 9-10, 2026 at the Raleigh Marriott City Center in Wake County. This annual event is a prime opportunity for county officials and legislators to connect, collaborate, and work toward shaping the future of North Carolina’s counties.
The event typically begins on Tuesday, with joint steering committee meetings, allowing county leaders to hear from issue experts on a variety of topics. On Tuesday evening, there is a special dinner where we showcase inspiring county stories and initiatives. It’s a fantastic opportunity to engage with your county peers, hear about successful county efforts, and share experiences, all while building valuable relationships with legislators who play a critical role in advancing shared priorities. This relaxed yet impactful gathering is the perfect way to kick off the advocacy event and set the tone for meaningful conversations.
On that next Wednesday, the energy continues as we gather at the Quorum Center for a morning of coffee, refreshments, and an informative presentation. The NCACC Advocacy and Policy team provides key updates and essential information that will prepare attendees for a day at the Legislative Building. You’ll leave this morning session with the knowledge and confidence to advocate effectively on behalf of your county as you meet with legislators throughout the day.
