The NCACC is partnering with NC Emergency Management (NCEM) and Duke Energy to hold in-depth training courses designed to equip county commissioners and county leadership with the knowledge, tools, and resources they need to effectively lead during emergency situations. The 100 Counties Prepared Training: Buncombe County program is the result of NCACC Past President Frank Williams’ 100 Counties Prepared Initiative and the task force he appointed, which worked to create this training to prepare commissioners to lead effectively during critical local response and recovery activities.
