Each year, NCACC hosts a series of district meetings where county commissioners and other county officials meet to share challenges, successes, and issues impacting counties within the region. These meetings provide an opportunity for county leaders to connect, collaborate, and strategize on solutions to local and statewide concerns.
District Meeting Structure
Each district meeting is hosted by a district director and their planning team, with sessions held in both in-person and virtual formats. NCACC leadership and staff attend these meetings to provide updates and gather valuable feedback from county officials.
Participation
County commissioners and other local officials are invited to participate in these collaborative conversations. These meetings offer a platform to discuss pressing issues, share best practices, and engage in meaningful dialogue. Registration is by invitation only.
NCACC County Conversations Tour
The County Conversations Tour is an essential part of NCACC’s efforts to foster collaboration among counties. During each district meeting, NCACC leadership engages with local officials to understand regional concerns and to ensure that local perspectives are represented in state-level discussions.

Counties Shared … NCACC Listened!
In spring 2024, NCACC Executive Director Kevin Leonard traveled the state to attend the district meetings on the NC County Conversations Tour. During each district meeting, county commissioners and staff shared their challenges, successes and issues impacting counties within the region. “I’m incredibly grateful to be able to get out into the counties and engage with our members,” said NCACC Executive Director Kevin Leonard. “With each meeting, I have truly looked forward to hearing of all the great things happening in our counties and how the Association can better support them.” Below are a few quick links to find some answers to various county questions about NCACC resources.
