Primary Purpose of Position:
The primary purpose of this position is to as serve as the preparedness coordinator, accreditation administrator, and public information officer for the health department.
The work schedule is Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with a 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. lunch hour. The requirements for the position will include trainings and workshops to maintain consistency with the state and local changes and updates. This position requires skill in management, knowledge of public health practice, ability to exercise good judgement, ability to maintain good working relationships and great flexibility regarding adaption to changing situations. Training is expected and ongoing.
GRADE 68 - $17.67 - $28.79 DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE
Required minimum training is a four-year degree in public service administration, psychology, sociology or social work or a human service programmatic field, preferably with coursework in human service planning; or graduation from a four-year college or university and two years of administrative or consultative experience in a human services program or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
