Each year, NCACC compiles a series of county data maps to highlight demographic, economic, health, and education information for all 100 counties.

County Risk Group

The NCACC’s County Risk Group (CRG) offers workers’ compensation and liability and property coverages for counties and related entities. Members of the CRG enjoy comprehensive and affordable coverage specifically designed for local government exposures. Currently, we proudly serve over 70 member counties, including entities in one or both pools within the risk group.

Community colleges support counties and vice versa. In North Carolina, community colleges are purposefully embedded in local communities, thus making them an integral part of the communities in which they are located. The relationship between counties and community colleges goes beyond collaboration. Since their inception, counties and community colleges have operated symbiotically to make North Carolina an outstanding place for business, investment, workforce talent and access to education.

Connecting Counties: Expanding Broadband Access in NC

The Association is very excited to announce the launch of the Connecting Counties Playbook, an online resource designed to equip county leaders and staff with information, resources, and strategies needed to explore the opportunities for broadband expansion and to better serve county residents.

Research

NCACC aims to provide county commissioners, county staff, and related audiences with data and information useful to understanding and operating the state’s 100 counties. The Association collects and publishes survey data from counties and compiles county-level data from myriad state and federal agencies.
