Custom promotional products now available through U.S. Communities

Customized apparel and promotional products are now available through the U.S. Communities’ Office and School Supplies contract awarded to Office Depot. Counties and agencies that participate in U.S. Communities will receive an additional discount of 10 percent off all promotional products in the catalog, except for golf equipment, which is discounted at 5 percent.

The new product line offers a broad selection of customizable apparel and other products, commonly called “promotional products” or “ad specialty items,” that can be customized to promote a county name, seal, logo, tagline, statement or other text/design. Available items range from polo shirts, uniform items, hats and caps, writing instruments, conference tote bags and badge holders, giveaways and more. U.S. Communities Government Purchasing Alliance, co-sponsored by NACo, has established a national structure for local government agencies to make use of their collective purchasing power and to improve the overall effectiveness of their purchasing processes. As a 100 percent NACo member state, all North Carolina counties are eligible to receive discounts through the alliance.
