U.S. Communities participants expand, enhance service contracts
Los Angeles County (Calif.) and Graybar Electric Company, Inc. have agreed on a new and expanded U.S. Communities Electrical Supplies contract, resulting in a broader selection of products with the addition of 100 new manufacturers and a list of specialized services for public agency customers. Graybar has also renewed its telecommunications supply contract with U.S. Communities through Dec. 31, 2008, and expanded its offering on security and communications products and services.
Meanwhile, Dallas County (Texas) awarded an expanded cleaning chemicals and supplies contract with Zep Sales and Service. The new contract provides broad access to cleaning chemicals and supplies, and cleaning machines. The agreement is a replacement for the County of Allegheny (Pa.) contract. Zep will be offering an expanded GreenLink line as well as future enhancements to their online ordering system in the new janitorial supply contract.
