How to Use the Library Catalog
The library catalog is organized by topic. The "Table of Contents" lists each topic in alphabetical order. Once you have selected the topic, go to the category listing. The videos are listed by name and number. Below the number are the approximate length of the video and a brief description of its content. Spanish language videos are indicated under the video title in our online catalog. Members are allowed to request up to three videos at a time. Once you have selected up to three different videos, simply print the Video Request Form, complete and sign it, then fax to the attention of NCACC Customer Service at (919) 719-1105.
Before You Use The Video
All videos should be previewed before showing them in your training session. The following should be verified immediately after receiving your shipment: Are the videos you received the same title and number that were requested? Were the videos damaged during shipment? If you received the wrong video or it is damaged, please call us immediately upon receipt.
Cancellations
If your plans change and you wish to cancel your video request, please notify us immediately so that the videos you have reserved may be made available to other members.
Fees and Charges
This is a free service that we provide to our members. Video rentals are good for four weeks. See “late fees” below.
Returning Shipments
Please rewind all videos before returning them. Members must return videos via an express delivery service that will track the shipment and provide full insurance for the value of the shipment. Members not insuring videos for their full value will be responsible for any loss or damage to the videos during return shipment.
Late Charges
Any video borrowed that is not received by NRSC by 5 p.m. on the due date will be subject to a late charge of $15 per day/per video. Members will be directly responsible for this fee. Videos received after the due date will be considered late, and a fee shall be charged for each day late up to the maximum charge of twice the full replacement cost of the video.
Lost or Damaged Videos
Members are liable for lost or damaged materials. The member will be liable for the full replacement cost of videos in the event of its loss or severe damage.
Copyrights
Videos in our library are protected under United States copyright laws and may not be copied without the expressed written permission of the library and the video producer. Videos may not be transmitted over any electronic means without the expressed written permission of the library and the video producer.
Warning!
Videos may not be copied for any reason without the expressed written permission of the producer and the library. Federal law provides severe civil and criminal penalties for the unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or exhibition of copyrighted materials. (Title 17, United States Code, Section 501 and 506).
To protect the rights of the video producers, the National Resource Safety Center's legal counsel will be notified immediately if any library materials are found to be illegally copied while rented or on loan. The member will have their membership privileges terminated immediately, and the video producer will be immediately notified in writing by NRSC's legal counsel.
