2008 Directory of North Carolina County Officials

The NCACC's 2008 Directory of North Carolina County Officials includes basic information on each of the state's 100 counties as well as contact information for elected officials and department heads. The directory will be available for distribution in late February/early March!

The cost of the directory is $60 per copy. County commissioners, managers and clerks, and Associate Members receive complimentary copies. County/state government officials and nonprofit agencies can order copies at a discounted price of $20 each, plus sales tax, while Associate Members can order additional copies at a discounted price of $30 each.

Welcome to Your County

The Association is revising and updating its Welcome to Your County booklet. The new booklet will be available at $1 per copy (price includes sales tax) in February.

The 20-page brochure contains sections on why counties and county governments exist, where counties receive their funding and what services they provide, who runs county governments, and more. County speakers who use the brochure during presentations may also download the companion PowerPoint. The PPT is easily customizable for each county, or counties may request that the NCACC customize the PPT by contacting Director of Communications Todd McGee at todd.mcgee@ncacc.org or (919) 715-7336.
