Outstanding County Program Award entries due Feb. 17

If your county has developed a uniquely innovative process, solution or idea to address a county or multi-jurisdictional issue and/or to prevent a future problem from developing, consider applying for an Outstanding County Program Award. The Feb. 17 deadline to submit entries is quickly approaching.

Winning programs not only receive statewide recognition during National County Government Month in April via CountyLines and www.ncacc.org, but winners will also be recognized during a meeting of their board of commissioners.

A team of judges will select three winning programs in each of three categories: General Government, Human Services, and Public Information/Participation. Entries involving multi-jurisdictional collaboration are strongly encouraged to apply.
