DENR to hold six workshops on new e-recycling law

S887 has been signed by Governor Beverly Perdue, and the law launches implementation of North Carolina’s new electronics legislation. It includes opportunities for funding for local government electronics programs but also specific requirements for how communities become eligible for the funding.

NC DENR is holding a series of workshops across the state in the month of August to provide detailed information on S887. If you have questions about the workshops, contact Scott Mouw at scott.mouw@ncdenr.gov or (919) 715-6512.

All workshops will be held from 10 a.m. - noon.
