NCACC's Nolen completes County Administration Course

Lisa Nolen became the latest staff member to graduate from the County Administration Course at the UNC School of Government. During a graduation ceremony on April 16, Nolen joined 27 county officials receiving certificates. More than 1,300 city and county officials have completed the course since it began in 1964.
Course instruction covers local government law, organization and management, finance and budgeting, employment law and administration, planning and regulation of development, and the delivery of specific county and city services. The course is roughly 150 hours in length and involves the participation of more than 60 instructors – including NCACC Deputy Director Patrice Roesler.

Anthony Allen attended the National Public Administrators Forum in Guilford County from April 26-28. The event focused on transforming the connection between community and government.
