NCACC and the Golden LEAF Foundation are hosting a webinar for counties under a presidential disaster declaration as a result of Tropical Storm Michael. The presentation will include an overview of the process for applying for funds through the Disaster Recovery Grant Program as well as a Q&A session. State legislation (H200) appropriated $15 million to Golden LEAF to provide grants to governmental entities for disaster relief. The funds may be used to repair, replace, construct, or improve infrastructure or equipment damaged as a result of Hurricane Matthew, Florence, Micheal, or Dorian, as well as to construct or improve infrastructure to support hazard mitigation.
