Constitutional duties for NCACC President Elect
Section 2, Article IV. President Elect. The President Elect shall consult with, counsel and advise the President and, in the absence or disability of the President, he shall exercise the duties of the President. He shall generally oversee the financial affairs of the Association and shall make a report thereon to the membership at the annual meeting.
NCACC President Elect Joe Bryan (2009-10)
Wake County Commissioner Joe Bryan was sworn in as President Elect of the North Carolina Association of County Commissioners (NCACC) on Saturday, Aug. 29, during the Association’s 102nd Annual Conference, which was held in Catawba County.

As NCACC President Elect, Bryan will work closely with the other members of the NCACC Executive Committee to guide the NCACC Board of Directors on legislative and administrative issues affecting counties throughout the year.
Bryan will automatically ascend to the presidency at the NCACC’s August 2010 Annual Conference.
Bryan was elected NCACC Second Vice President in August 2007. Previously he served two years as an at-large appointee to the NCACC Board of Directors. He is in his second four-year term on the Wake County Board of Commissioners after serving as mayor of the Town of Knightdale from 1995-2002 and on the Knightdale Town Council from 1987-95.
