Retreat Facilitation and Board Leadership Development

  • Conduct expanded instructional programs regarding roles, responsibilities, and relationships between boards of commissioners and other county officials
  • Partner with counties to plan and facilitate retreats

Resource/Consultation Teams

  • Convene and facilitate knowledgeable, respected peer review groups to assess and analyze county departments in order to provide recommendations on how to improve operations

Enhanced Field Liaison Services

  • Organize and conduct structured regional managers’ meetings
  • Attend Board of Commissioners meetings and share NCACC news and developments
  • Represent NCACC member interests through participation in affiliate group meetings and conferences
  • Provide professional consultation services to county managers, as requested

Recruitment Assistance for Vacant Positions

  • Collaborate with counties to undertake search for key county employees including county managers, finance officers, tax assessors and administrators
  • Identify potential interim placements
