NOTE:

  • Access to all videos is FREE to members of 1 or both of the NCACC risk management pools.
  • NCACC Risk Control regularly features specific streaming videos, but all listed videos may be requested by a member at any time.
  • Access is through a link and passcode which is supplied via email. You may use that link and passcode at any time of your own choosing.
  • Our intention is that you view these videos in a group setting using a computer or laptop and projector. However:
    • You may preview a video prior to scheduling group showings
    • Risk managers, safety officers and others whose position includes primary safety responsibility for their county or entity may also access videos to further their own risk control education.
    • With prior approval of Risk Control staff, a limited number of individual accesses may be allowed for those employees whose schedules will not permit attendance at a group showing.
  • There are more than 350 training videos available through our vendor, CoastalFlix™, a division of DuPont Sustainable Solutions. You may access the full program list at their website, www.coastalflix.com. If you identify an unlisted video you would like to access through NCACC, check with the Video Librarian or Risk Control Manager Bob Carruth (919.719.1150 or bob.carruth@ncacc.org) to determine whether access can be granted.
  • We have identified 85 CoastalFlix™ videos to be used as tools to help us reach our goal of reducing the frequency or lessening the severity of our members’ claims. If you find a video on the CoastalFlix™ website that cannot be offered through the NCACC program, you may set up your own account and order directly from the vendor.

Regular announcements of featured videos are emailed to our “Member Safety Contacts” distribution list. If you would like to receive these emails but are not currently on the distribution list, please contact Resources Librarian Kathy DeMay at 919.719.1117 (leave a voicemail if necessary) or email RMP@ncacc.org.

Written materials (handouts, sample policies, forms, etc.) are available for many of the topics covered in these videos. When these are available, the Resources Librarian will include that information in the email relaying the video link and passcode. Also, a number of videos were previously part of NCACC Risk Control’s DVD lending library. Those videos have accompanying training guides and presentations available, as noted in their descriptions.

Please contact your Risk Control Specialist for additional advice and/or assistance with your training.
