Risk Control

The NCACC Risk Control Department is dedicated to providing our members with superior risk control services to help them with hazard assessment, risk identification, claims analysis, and safety program design and implementation. Our staff is highly trained and competent in all risk control and safety disciplines. Our goal is to assist members with claim reduction and control through safety and risk control program design, implementation and training.

Our services include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Comprehensive industrial hygiene services including; mold detection, noise sampling, air monitoring for contaminates, respirator fit testing and control, etc.
  • Review and evaluation of member’s existing safety and health programs and policies.
  • Design and implementation of new safety/risk control policies or programs
  • Facilitate Safety Committee meetings.
  • Assisting members with establishment and implementation of effective accident reporting and investigation procedures.
  • Claims reviews to identify loss trends and assist with policies/procedures to address trends.
  • Prepare OSHA 300 logs annually.
  • Personalized safety/risk control training designed for the member’s needs.
  • Designing and implementing effective return-to-work programs.
  • Assist with regulatory compliance such as NCOSH, EPA and DOT requirements.
  • Review and analyze internal company policies and procedures (exp., employment practices, training, procurement, customer relations, advertising/public relations) and provide advice as to risk control and safety implications
  • Assist with development and implementation of an incident reporting system.
  • Development of comprehensive disaster recovery programs.
