Each year, NCACC hosts a series of district meetings where county commissioners and other county officials meet to share challenges, successes and issues impacting counties within the region.

Upcoming District Meetings
NCACC County Conversations Tour
This year, each District Director and their planning team will serve as the host county for their district’s meeting. NCACC Executive Director Kevin Leonard will also be in attendance during each meeting to give an Association update and gain insight from the representing counties. During the “NCACC County Conversations Tour” of District Meetings, the Association will ask each county to list the top three major challenges and top three major accomplishments. Please be on the lookout for an invitation to attend a District Meeting near your county. 2024 Schedule for District Meetings
April
- Tuesday, April 23 from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. in Haywood County — District 17 (Cherokee, Clay, Graham, Haywood, Jackson, Macon and Swain)
- Wednesday, April 24 from 8:30 – 10:00 a.m. in Polk County — District 15 (Cleveland, McDowell, Polk and Rutherford)
- Wednesday, April 24 from 5:00 – 6:30 p.m. in Transylvania County — District 16 (Buncombe, Henderson, Madison and Transylvania)
- Thursday, April 25 from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. in Avery County — District 14 (Alleghany, Ashe, Avery, Mitchell, Watauga, Wilkes and Yancey)
May
- Thursday, May 2 from 12:00 – 1:30 p.m. in Wake County — District 9 (Chatham, Durham, Johnston, Lee, Orange and Wake)
- Friday, May 3 from 12:00 – 1:30 p.m. in Granville County — District 8 (Franklin, Granville, Person, Vance and Warren)
